Karla Nelson

Karla Ann Nelson, 53, of Waco, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016.A visitation with the family will be on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Cogdell Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Tim Tidenberg officiating, with a burial at 3p.m. at Post Mountain Cemetery in Burnet, TX.

She was a program analyst with Baylor University for 18 years and her and her husband were both members of Cogdell Memorial United Methodist Church.

Karla is survived by her husband, Lance Nelson of Robinson, TX, two sons; Craig Nelson and his wife, Patty of Houston, TX, Rick Nelson and his wife, Haily of Corpus Christi, TX, two sisters; Karen McInnis and husband Wayne of Woodward, OK, Connie Love of Lubbock, TX, two brothers; Kenneth Cody and his wife Charlie of Robinson, TX, John Cody and his wife, Trelanie of Canyon, TX. Karla's first granddaughter (Reagan) is due to arrive in February.

Memorials can be made to the Karla Nelson Scholarship fund at Baylor University.
