June Fallon

May 4, 1932 — January 11, 2012



June Tritt Fallon age 79, of Waco went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday January 11, 2012. She died peacefully in her home with her sons by her bedside. Funeral Services will be 11AM Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Waco, with Father John Wells officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7PM Friday January 13, 2012 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.

June was born May 4, 1932 in Laredo, Texas to Minerva and Dr. Paul Tritt. She lived her early life in San Antonio, where she graduated from Alamo Heights High School in 1950. In July of 1951 she married future legendary Baylor broadcaster Frank Fallon. Soon thereafter they moved to Waco where they raised their family. She had one simple hobby, keeping up with her children and grandchildren and supporting their life adventures in any way she could. She was a glowing example of a Godly woman living her life for others. She was the World’s Greatest Mom to her sons and the World’s Greatest Granny to her grandchildren. She was greatly loved and will be missed.

June was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She was a Charter member, with her late husband Frank, at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit since 1961, when it was founded.

June was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank and her sister Jackie.

She is survived by her four sons Steve and wife Beverly, Mark, Mike and wife Theresa and Kyle and wife Lisa; two sisters Leah Green, Paula Peacock and husband Dick; sister in-law Phyllis Fallon; five grandchildren Stephanie, James, Sarah Knapp and husband Steven, Sean and Blayre, and one great grandchild, Jack and many nieces and nephews and beloved friends.

The family would like to thank caregivers Joyce Rush and Mary Williamson of Visiting Angels and Light House Hospice for their wonderful care, love and support.
