Julia was born August 21, 1918 in Mahl, TX, Nacogdoches County. She was the youngest of five children and moved with her family to South San Antonio at the age of 5 where she lived for most of her early years. She married Norman Pausky who worked for Humble Oil Company on February 16, 1938. They lived in Freer, Kingsville, and Premont, TX throughout the 57 years of their marriage. In 2001 she moved to Waco to be near her son, his wife, and grandchildren.
Julia was primarily a homemaker and mother although she did work a few years in Ragland Department store in Kingsville during the 1950’s and 60’s. She was always very active in her church. She was a member for many years at the First Baptist Church of Premont and was a member of First Baptist Woodway most recently. She taught the youth on Sunday nights and for many years taught girls in Sunday School and Girl’s Auxiliary.
