Judy Parrish

Judy L. Parrish, 52, of Speegleville went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 27, 2015. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 7th, 2015 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Bailey and Dr. Mark Rankin officiating.

Judy was born August 28th, 1962 in Frankfurt, Germany, to William (Bill) Swoveland , Jr and Doris Woods of San Benito, TX. Judy was a beloved wife and mother that enjoyed participating in the local Vacation Bible School events. She was a ventriloquist that used talent and adopted son (Scotty) to entertain the children and deliver God’s message. Judy loved making crafts and presenting them to friends and family for the pure joy of seeing the smile she’d bring to everyone’s face. She was devoted to her family and cherished spending time with them. Judy’s faith in God kept her strong.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Swoveland; step-father, Gerald Woods; and father-in-law, Ronald Parrish.

Judy is survived by her husband of 35 years, Randy W. Parrish of Speegleville; daughters Erin Leigh Parrish of Speegleville and Amy Lynn Parrish of Waco; Mother, Doris Woods of San Benito, TX; Brother, Terry and Joann Swoveland of Virginia; and sisters, Sheryl and Rex Parrish of Clifton, Billie and Paul Floyd of San Benito and Mary Barlow Swoveland of San Benito; sister-in-law, Darla and Ned Meister of Valley Mills; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
