Joyce Eaton

Joyce Riddle Eaton age 66, of Waco passed away on Monday October 1, 2012 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Friday at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 pm Thursday October 4, 2012 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.

Joyce was born on October 26, 1945 in Waco to Glen and Pauline Riddle. She graduated from Denton High School in 1963 and went on to attend Beauty School in Richardson, Texas. She worked as a hairdresser in Dallas, Texas until she met and married the love of her life, Billy Hal Eaton in 1967. They were blessed with three sons that became the center of Joyce’s world. Joyce always had a knack for taking something that no one else could see the beauty in and transforming it into something magnificent. She applied this gift to buying and selling furniture and later houses.

Joyce dedicated her life to God and loved to share her knowledge of the Bible to friends, family and strangers alike. Those closest to Joyce knew her passion for movies and love for board games. You could not pay her a visit without getting rooked into a game of Parcheesi or Dominoes. Joyce had a personality that was larger than life and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Glen and Pauline Riddle and Mother-in-law, Alleen Hogg.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Bill of 45 years; sons, Mark Eaton and wife Dawn of Robinson, John Eaton and wife Kim of Robinson, Kevin Eaton and wife Mary Ann of Waco; six beautiful granddaughters, Kendra, Kacey, Kalli, Kayla, Kara and Kate; brother, Don Riddle and wife Jenny of Houston; Sister-in-law Sandy Kraft and husband Cecil of North Little Rock, AR; Brother-in-law Don Eaton and wife Betsy of Birmingham, AL; and Dick Eaton and wife Pat of Searcy, AR; Father-in-law Bob Hogg of Searcy, AR and numerous other family and friends.
