Jon was born January 23, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas to Robert A. Hall, Sr. and Thelma S. Hall. Jon attended San Antonio schools and graduated from Edison in 1961. He attended San Antonio College and received an Associates degree in Electronics. On August 23, 1969, he married Mary Frances Fleming in San Antonio, Texas. He worked for Sperry Univac (Unisys) for 26 years as a Customer Engineer first repairing mainframe computers and later repairing smaller computers throughout the Central Texas area. He demonstrated his compassion and caring for people while on the job as well as in his personal life. Some of his most treasured experiences were coaching his daughter’s Midway Little League softball teams including the year his All-Star team played in the Southern Regionals in Florida in 1985. He enjoyed sharing a common love of personal computers (PC’s) with his son. He served wherever he was needed in his church with a warm smile on his face. His greatest delight was his family; his loving wife, Mary, his children, Jennifer & Brad & his son-in-law, Jim and his precious grand-children, Evan & Emma. He was “the dog man” & had many loyal pets, including his devoted labs, Chas & Frosty.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert A. Hall, Jr.
Jon is survived by his loving wife, Mary F.
