John Mills

John Avery Mills entered his Saviors arms peacefully surrounded by family on April 11, 2012. Services will be Monday, April 16th at Grace Gardens Funeral Home at 11am. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-6pm at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations to be made to St. Jude.
John was 67 years old born on August 19, 1944 in Ft. Riley, Kansas to Avery and Myrtle Mills. He attended Irvin High School, El Paso, Texas. John was in the Army, he was an A & P mechanic and served in the Vietnam War. John was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bob. He is survived by his two brothers, Mike and Richard Mills of Cloudcroft, NM and his sister Carolyn of Brentwood, California. He is also survived by his three daughters; Regina and her husband Darin of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Joni and her husband Jason of Waco, Texas and Jennifer of Waco, Texas. He had seven grandchildren; Hunter, Bryson, Braelyn, Brynden, Aaliyah, Breanna, and Blake. He had just become a great grandpa for the first time to Kynslee Elizabeth.

Visitation

Sunday April 15, 2012 , 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel

Interment will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
