John Ben Gierth

John Ben Gierth, 63, of Waco passed away Monday, August 1, 2022.  He was born October 12, 1958 in Marlin, Texas to Benjamin and Mabel Gierth.  He was a 1976 Marlin High School graduate.  Following graduation he worked for the Chevrolet house in Marlin.  John loved cars and had the highest certification in auto mechanics.  Later John worked for Allen Samuels in Waco.  John had strong work ethic and loved serving others by repairing cars and servicing customers in the parts department.

John had three sisters, Shirley Lewis of Waco, Darlene Scott of Lakey, and Bennie Martin of Woodway, whom he loved dearly.  Bennie and John had a special relationship, he could always count on her and she loved him fiercely.

John will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
