&nbsp Born: October 23, 1955&nbsp Death: December 3, 2015 John Corley of Fort Worth, formerly of Waco, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015, at the age of 60. Graveside services and interment will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015, at Oak Wood Cemetery with Pat Youngblood officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Grace Gardens Funeral Home 8220 Woodway Dr. , Waco, Texas.
Mr. Corley was born October 23, 1955, in Dallas, Texas, the son of the late Garland and Jean Ann (Hopkins) Corley. At an early age, he moved to Waco where he was a 1974 graduate of Richfield High School. Most of his life was spent as a journeyman electrician. His most recent employment was with CBA Automation and Walker Engineering, Inc. He enjoyed various types of landscaping, listening to classic rock and Christian music. Also preceding him in death was his paternal grandparents, Henry Marvin and Emmie Ellen Corley and his maternal grandparents, John Lee and Alma Hopkins.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry; a son, Joshua C. Abbott and wife Crystal; a daughter, Stephanie Nadeau; a brother, Robert Corley; two sisters, Garlene Corley- Shelton, Dyann Corley-Kelly; five grandchildren, Hailey Abbott, Micah Abbott, London Abbott, Aiden Abbott and Charlene Mercer.
