Joe was born in Waco, Texas to Pete Sr and Mary Gaytan Campos.  He married Maria Delia Sanchez on February 25th, 1950.  Joe was a hard working man who held two jobs at one time for the majority of his life.  He worked for RC Cola, Cox’s Candy, Trautschold Company, Southwestern Drug, Word Inc and the City of Waco.  He traveled to many places with his wife, Maria Delia, when she was an officer in the Telephone Pioneers organization.  The trip that he enjoyed the most though was their 50 year wedding anniversary trip to Hawaii where they renewed their vows.   Joe loved to barbeque for his family and friends and he enjoyed the complements given on his barbeque.  He loved his family very much and the grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren always brought a smile to his face as well as laughter.  He had a sharp memory and we enjoyed listening to him recall memories about each one of them.
