Jimmy Hail

Dr. Jimmy Glenn Hail, Ed.D, 78, of Crawford, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014, in a local hospital. Memorial Services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 18, at The First Presbyterian Church in Waco.

Dr. Hail was born May 15, 1936 in Amarillo, Texas to Roddy William and Iva Belle Pyeatt Hail. He was a Navy veteran and a retired Professor of Psychology at McLennan Community College with 37 years of service. His greatest love was for his children, grand children and great grandchildren. Dr. Hail had a passion for aviation. He was a very active member of EAA Chapter 59 and also an active member of First Presbyterian Church and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

Dr. Hail is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sue, of Crawford; sons, Doug and wife, Kelley Hail, of Montgomery, Texas and Mike and wife, Linda Hail, of Hewitt; and daughter, Kimberly Houston and husband, Michael Labo, of Hewitt; his sisters, Pat Richardson and husband, Tom and Judy Dunnam and husband, David all of Austin; and his grandchildren, Justin and wife, Elizabeth, Kevin, Forrest, Jack, Amy, Taylor, Lauren, Maegan, and Anna; and great-grandchildren, Camryn and Karson.
