Jesse Kelly

Jesse Odell Kelly 93, of Waco, passed away on October 26, 2014. A visitation with the family will be 1:30pm, 30 minutes prior to the service at 2pm Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Jesse was born in Bosque County on July 2, 1921 to Jesse Woods Kelly and Hettie Eudora Hayes Kelly. He married Grace Burns on January 17, 1942 and entered World War II in October 1942, serving in the Army Air Force in the Philippines and New Guinea.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jesse & Hettie Kelly, his wife of 71 years Grace Kelly and his oldest child Dwayne Odell Kelly, his brothers and sisters Rufus Kelly, Iva Dell Lynch, Ernest Kelly, Irene Robinson, HB Kelly and Bill Kelly.

He is survived by his sister-in-law Martha Burns Kelly, his daughter-in-law Jewel Kelly, his son Larry Mark Kelly and his wife Chrissie, and his daughter Sherry Kelly Mayfield and her husband Billy. His grandchildren Cary Dwayne Kelly, Renee Kelly Young and husband Philip, Aaron Odell Kelly and wife Melissa, Mark Kelly and wife Nicole, Heather Kelly Maldonado, Kelly Mayfield and wife Sheri and Lindy Mayfield Heard and husband Stephen also survive him. His great-grandchildren include Rory Kelly, Reece Kelly, Annesly Young, Riley Young, Garrett Kelly Mayfield, Cole Mayfield and Hayes Heard.

He is also survived by several nieces and nephews including Ronny Buckley, Gwenn Kelly, Lavonne Everett Elliston, Kathryn Ann Brown Moten and John Dalrymple.
