JERRY MAC VIDRINE PASSED AWAY SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 3, 2011 AT THE WACO VA HOSPITAL WITH HIS LOVED ONES BY HIS SIDE. Memorial Service will be held 2PM Wednesday September 7, 2011 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Chad McAninch officiating.

JERRY WAS BORN JULY 2, 1947 IN PHOENIZ ARIZONA TO KIRBY AND CARRIE VIDRINE. HE GRADUATED FROM WEATHERFORD HIGH SCHOOL IN 1965 WHERE HE EXCELLED IN TRACK AND FIELD AND RECEIVED A SCHOLARSHIP TO SOUTHWEST MISSOURI STATE IN SPRINGFIELD MISSOURI. JERRY SERVED IN THE ARMY FROM 1967-71 WHERE HE DID 3 TOURS IN VIETNAM. AFTER RETURNING JERRY WORKED IN BANKING FOR 20 YRS AS A LOAN OFFICER AT REPULIC BANK AND GENCO CREDIT UNION. HE WAS ALSO A MEMBER OF THE WACO MASONIC LODGE.

JERRY HAD A PASSION FOR FISHING THROUGHOUT HIS WHOLE LIFE, HE COULD SPEND ALL DAY ON THE WATER AND BE AT PEACE. HE WAS A AVID ANIMAL LOVER AND TRAINED SHOW HORSES AS A CHILD AND LATER IN LIFE HE LOVED HIS DOGS .

JERRY LOVED SPENDING TIME WITH HIS FAMILY AND ECSPECIALLY SEEING HIS GRAND-CHILDREN. HE LOVED GIVING GIFTS TO PEOPLE AND LOVED BEING ABLE TO SEE THEM SMILE.

JERRY WAS A ACCOMPLISHED TRAVELER AND HE VISITED 48 OF THE 50 US STATES. COLORADO HELD A SPECIAL PLACE IN HIS HEART AND HIS ASHES WILL BE LAID TO REST THERE AND ON THE CHILDHOOD RANCH IN WEATHERFORD.

JERRY IS PRECEEDED IN DEATH BY HIS PARENTS KIRBY L VIDRINE AND CARRIE B VIDRINE.

JERRY IS SURVIVED BY HIS SON JEREMY VIDRINE AND WIFE BROOKSEY OF HEWITT, TX AND BROTHER JAMES VIDRINE AND WIFE JACKIE OF HEWITT, TX, SISTER PATRICIA TALBERT OF WACO, TX AND BROTHER ROBERT VIDRINE OF WACO, TX, AND 3 GRAND-CHILDREN TRINITY, BRAEDYN, AND BRYCE VIDRINE.

JERRY WILL BE MISSED BY HIS LOVING FAMILY. NOT A DAY WILL GO BY THAT YOU ARE NOT IN OUR HEARTS AND THOUGHTS. “I LOVE YOU DAD.”

IN LIEU OF FLOWERS THE FAMILY REQUEST DONATIONS BE MADE TO THE WACO HUMANE SOCIETY OR THE WEST VFW POST FOR THE TRAVELING VIETNAM MEMORIAL WALL.
