Jearld Lindsey

Jearld Lindsey, 75, of McGregor, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 27, 2018. Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 3, 2018, with Rev. Charlie Brown officiating, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. A visitation with the family will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Jearld was born in Gatesville, Texas on August 21, 1943. He grew up in the Waco area. He graduated from McGregor High School in 1964, and enlisted in the United States Army the same year. In 1970, he married the love of his life, Kathleen Mayr, and together they had two children, whom they raised in McGregor, Texas. Jearld never met a stranger and was a friend to all. He dearly loved to find treasures and restore them.

Jearld was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry and Willie Morine Mooney Lindsey; and his brother, Kennith Lindsey.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 48 years, Kathleen; children, Michael and his wife Kristina Lindsey, currently of Goffstown, NH, and Sharon Lindsey of Frisco; grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob.
