Jean Naylor

Jean Naylor, age 86, of Waco passed away at a local hospital. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roy Marshall officiating. Visitation begins at 2PM followed by a 3PM Chapel Service. Interment will follow at Oakwood cemetery.

Jean was born on July 26, 1924 in Robert Lee, Texas to Blain and Nina Ott. She was office manager at Trinity Engineering for over 25 years, served as Noble Grand of the Rebeccas and President of Women in Construction. Jean’s many joys included her children, grandchildren and extended family, along with gardening, fishing, bird watching and her beloved pets.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 25 years, L.J. Naylor; brother Lewis Ott.

Jean is survived by a son Ralph Medart and his friend Norma Garza; three daughters Gloria Patrick and husband Steve, Polly Johnson and husband Jerry, and Joyce Hennig and husband Jack; a sister Wynell Sanders; five grandchildren Rickey Reid, Kim Jackson, Shelley Wyatt, Wendy Moody and Sonya Hennig; eight great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and the extended Naylor family.

The family would like to thank the staff of Wesley Woods, Providence Hospice, and Providence Hospital 3 South. Our special thanks to Holly Gregory, CNA.
