Jean Carol (Hoeldtke) Adams passed into the arms of our Heavenly Father on November 3, 2014. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 10th, 2014 at Waco Memorial Park.
Jean Carol was born in Waco, Texas on September 11, 1937. She graduated from La Vega High School and Four-C Business School. Jean Carol worked at Texas Farm Bureau, General Dynamics, Masonic Grand Lodge and retired from the Waco Police Department in 1998. She was a member of Sparks Memorial Methodist Church and of the Eastern Star Chapter 629. She married Alvin R. Adams November 10, 1956. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, crocheting, gardening, refinishing antique furniture and decorating her home in Stone Creek Ranch. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Though Jean struggled greatly with her illness, her family, especially her husband, was a priority in her life.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father Paula Groppe Hoeldkte and Kurt Hoeldtke and her younger brother Curtis Wayne Hoeldtke.
Jean is survived by her husband, Alvin Adams; daughter Leigh Ann (Adams) Brunson, son-in-law David Brunson and grandchildren Ryan Taylor Brunson and Brittany Nicole Brunson.
