Janie Sanchez

Janie Rodriguez Sanchez, 49, of Waco went to be with her Lord on Wednesday May 1, 2013 after a short battle with cancer. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, May 5,2013 at Iglesia Amistad at 11am with Pastor Jesus Garnica officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home from 6-8pm.
Janie Rodriguez Sanchez was born August 12, 1963 in Waco, Texas to Geralda Mata Rodriguez and Martin Gayton Rodriguez. She was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her father; husband of 30 years Salvador Sanchez; children, Franchesca, Michael, and India; granddaughter Gabriella; sister Mary Helen Rodriguez-Pacheco and husband Mauricio; several nieces and nephews; God-children Francisco, Hannah, Salvador, and Andy.
Janie was a devoted member of Iglesia Amistad for many years. She was a loving and caring mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed spending time with her family and she always looked for the good in everyone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank Scott & White Hospice and their nurses Shayla, Deborah, Marla, social worker Aricela, and Chaplain Larry.
