McGregor resident, Janette Lee Williams Anderson went to her heavenly Father's embrace on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 with her husband and sister by her side. There are no current service planned but a Celebration of Janette's life will be held in the near future.
Janette was born in Poughkeepsie, NY to Virginia ( Woodrow) and Charles T. Williams, Jr., on March 12, 1956. She was the fifth of seven children. She grew up in the small town of Millerton, NY and attended Webutuck Central School.
She became a young mother and raised her family in upstate New York and McGregor, Texas. On December 30, 1988, Janette and David Anderson were blessed in marriage by God and families and the union continues in strength and love. Janette was an active member of Fire Department Flames in McGregor and gave many hours to their annual Christmas Toy Drive. She was also very active with the McGregor Volunteer Emergency Medical Service rising in the ranks from Basic EMT to Paramedic and was president of that organization for several years. Janette was honored with a Community Builder Award from the Masons in 2004 and by the Department of the Army in 2008 for her service with the Robertson Blood Center at Fort Hood with the Community Blood Drives. Janette and David are valued members of the McGregor Baptist Church and have given of themselves in service to the Lord and their church family.
Janette is survived by her loving husband, David Anderson, her three sons, Shane Aaron Breen of Arlington, Darryl Anthony Breen of Austin, Christopher Michael Breen of McGregor; She also leaves behind two brothers, Tom and wife Pam Williams of Coventry, CT, Robert and wife Dianne of Humble, TX; four sisters, Patricia and husband Robert Olsen of Crossville, TN, Sandra and husband Stewart Billingsley of Fort Davis, TX, Sharon Williams of Folsom, CA, Wendi Williams of Plymouth, MN; brother- in- law, Kenneth Anderson of Clute, TX; Aunt Sylvia Anderson of Waco, TX, Aunt Joan and Uncle Cosmo Viglioni of Poughkeepsie, NY, too many nieces , nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews to mention. She also leaves behind her faithful companion, four legged fur baby, Miss Maggie.
