James Frederick Stone

James Frederick Stone of McGregor, passed away Sunday night, October 24, 2021, at the age of 73.  A visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, October29, 2021, in the Chapel of Grace Gardens Funeral Home, 8220 Woodway Dr.   The graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Waco Memorial Park with ___officiating.

James was born September 24, 1948, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the son of the late Fred and Edith Marguerite Stone.  At an early age, the family moved to Waco where he was a 1969 graduate of Waco High School where he was in the mechanics club.  Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1971.

For over thirty years, Fallas Automation employed him as manager of the electrical department.   He enjoyed the outdoors, woodworking, computers and modifying anything he could get his hands on.

Survivors include his wife Cindy Sanders Stone; daughters Tammy Johnson and husband Scot; Crystal Knight Sadler (Elmo Reese Sadler) son Brian Stone, Sr.; Granddaughters, Bree-Ann Jares and husband Steven, Courtney Witcosky, Abigail Casey and husband Sean, Keeley Stone, Elizabeth Stone, Evelyn Sadler, Chloie Reese, Lessie Adikns, Fayth Adkins; Grandsons, Garrison Lee Gutierrez, Kyle Sadler Cory Stone, Brian Stone, Jr.; Great granddaughters, Rosalie West, Destiny, Madelynn Reese; great grandsons, Kyson Jares, Elijah Casey.
