Hewitt, Texas

James Keith Harrell Sr., age 56, went to join our heavenly father on February 6, 2020.

James was born August 13, 1963 in Waco, Texas.  He graduated from Jefferson-Moore High School in 1982 and enlisted in the Navy where he served aboard the USS Robinson as a DDG-12 from 1982 to 1986. He returned to Waco after his medical discharge and met his wife, Tracy who he was happily married to for 33 years

James received his bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Baylor University in May 1991. Over the next 28 years, he devoted a large portion of his time to advancing his career and served as the project manager for multiple corporations including Pfizer, Allergan and Maetrics. He was an active member of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering where he served as Treasurer for his local chapter.

He will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, king of the BBQ pit, World of Warcraft Master, a die-hard Baylor Alumni and fan (Sic’em Bears!), the smartest guy in the room, a proud patriot and US Navy Veteran.

Harrell Jr., daughter Michelle Turner, granddaughter’s Rheyn Harrell, Alaina Johnson, Krista Johnson, and Alana Johnson, and his mother Beverly Harrell.
