James "Randy" Blanchard

James Randall (Randy) Blanchard age 51 of Lakeside, California passed away peacefully surrounded by family in San Diego, California on August 10, 2011. Memorial services will be August 25, 2011 at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, California with full military honors. Randy’s final resting place will be along the ocean where he has walked so many times.

Randy was born June 1, 1960 to John N. and Rebecca (Searcy) Blanchard in Gatesville, Texas. He graduated from Connally High School in 1978. Randy joined the United States Navy and proudly served our country for 20 years before retiring in August, 2000. After retiring from the Navy, Randy was employed at Raytheon in San Diego as a Tech Support Engineer until his death.

Randy is preceded in death by his father, his step-father, Floy L. Denard, Jr. and his brother Todd Blanchard.

He is survived by his wife Tiffany of 18 years, mother, Rebecca Denard and companion Jerry L. Paris, his daughter, Maddie Blanchard of Waco, his sister Candy Perkins and husband Phillip of Hewitt, his nephew, Brandon Eary of Hewitt, his sister-in-law, Rhonda Blanchard of West, and niece Lindsey of West. He is also survived by his cats Tuffy & Jagger.

Randy was a friend to all who met him. His big smile and his big heart will be missed by so many.
