Iva (Dot) Brewer

Iva Lee (Dot) Brewer age 75, of Oglesby, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior and Loved Ones Wednesday February 15, 2012 at her home. Funeral Services will be 2PM Saturday February 18, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Oglesby. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Friday February 17, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Oglesby.

Iva was born March 23, 1936 in Bosque County to Scott and Opal Polston. She grew up and attended school in McGregor. Dot loved to work. She enjoyed her job at Brigadier Homes in Waco as well as her job at Ridgecrest Retirement Home where she worked for 15 years until her retirement in 2002. After her retirement she enjoyed taking care of her family and working in her yard.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Joe ( Mousie ) Polston.

Dot is survived by her daughter Jo Ann Brunson of Oglesby; A Grand-daughter Lisa Harrell and husband Grayson of Oglesby; 4 Great Grandchildren, Tanner and Miranda Harrell of Oglesby, Brandon Harrell of Denton and Caitlin Harrell of The Colony and one Great Great Grandchild, Rylie Gibson also of The Colony; Two nephews, Pete Polston and Pam of Speegleville and John Polston and wife Donna of Moody.
