With a twinkle in her eye and a tilt of her head Isabel's smile made everyone feel as though they were welcomed into a mother's heart. Isabel Cypriano-Schiltz, 83, of Lorena passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Isabel was born in Cambridge Massachusetts on June 10, 1939, to Hilda and Louis Cypriano. She married the love of her life Richard (Dick) Schiltz November 7, 1959. They had five children, ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She and her husband Dick resided in Chicago until 1979 where she founded her dear friendship with Carol Kauranen and Pat Burton. Carol and Isabel communicated daily until her death sharing memories of child rearing and family throughout the years faithfully. Isabel balanced family and work for 24 years as an office manager at Rueter Equipment Company until 2003 when she and Dick retired to Lorena, Texas close to their daughter Tracy. Richie and his children soon followed.
While Dick enjoyed his property and porch, Isabel loved family and was family to all who surrounded her. Throughout her life she spent countless hours loving and caring for the children of friends and family. Though it pained her to be separated from her Las Vegas family, she kindly was grandmother to Lauren Plaskett, Kyle Plaskett, and Katherine Plaskett throughout their childhood. Her children and grandchildren visited regularly. The lives she touched are too numerous to mention but she never met a person without letting them know they were treasured and loved. She was always quick with a smile and a shrug. Her only challenge was moving away from her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren in Las Vegas. She spent her final years at Regent Care Nursing home.
Preceded in death by husband of 59 years Richard (Dick) Joseph Schiltz, her mother Hilda Morris, father Louis Cypriano and brother Louis Cypriano.
