Imalene Wallace

Imalene Wallace, age 87 of Waco, passed away at her residence October 7, 2009 with her family by her side.

Imalene was born March 2, 1922 to George and Pearl Neal in the Warren Community. She graduated from Lorena High School. Imalene worked at Cox’s Department Store and Retail Merchants Credit Bureau for many years. She married R.L. (Bob) Wallace in 1940 and they were married for 67 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hewitt. She loved her rose garden and her cats. Imalene was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Harold Neal.

Imalene is survived by her two sons, R.E. (Bob) Wallace and his wife Nena and D.G. (Donny) Wallace and his wife Sandra; four grandchildren, Kristina Woodruff, Andrew Wallace, Shawn Wallace and Wendy Tetens; seven great grandchildren, Scarlett Woodruff, Cole Woodruff, Anders Wallace, Hunter Wallace, Patrick Wallace, Mimi Wallace and Vera Tetens and a brother, Windell Neal & family.

Honorary Pallbearers are Ralph Croll, Floyd Neal, Jerry Neal, Billy Jack Neal, and Steven Neal.
