Hugh Vince Fuller, 78, of Oglesby, Texas passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 after a fight with cancer. The Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, November 24 at his home at 139 County Road 307 in Oglesby with a fish fry after the service as one of his final wishes.
Vince was born in Wayne County, Pennsylvania to a Mr. Ray Merwin Fuller and Gladys Viola Kingsbury on March 20, 1939. He retired from the U.S. Army Special Forces as a Master Sergeant after being enlisted for nearly 21 years. He then went on to retire after 10 years from TXDot in Beaumont, Texas where he and his wife, Gloria Nell Fuller spent many years. The two moved to Oglesby in 2007 to be closer to family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ray A Fuller and his wife, Gloria Nell Fuller.
He left many to cherish his memory including 4 brothers and 3 sisters, son, Larry LeBlanc of Oglesby, Texas; son, Ray and wife Diane LeBlanc of Zachary, Louisiana; grandchildren, Jamie and husband Caleb Parrish of Gatesville, Dustin and wife Tasha LeBlanc of Oglesby, Cade and Casey LeBlanc of Louisiana; great-grandchildren Tres Botkin and Cayla Parrish of Gatesville and Drake LeBlanc of Oglesby.
A special thanks to the Providence Hospice staff for helping him keep comfortable though the last leg of his journey. He touched many lives and will not be forgotten.
