Born on August 17, 1940, in Trent, Texas to Theda and Charles J. (Chock) Hutcheson. She grew up in Trent and attended Trent High School, where she formed a deep bond with her childhood sweetheart, Joel, who loved her dearly. Their love story began in the innocence of youth, in church 80 years ago, and blossomed into a lifelong partnership of 64 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Hilda is survived by daughter, Carla Janay Neumann, husband Kirby Neumann, loving son Jeffrey Kel Crain, wife Laura Crain; sister, Delanna Herring, husband Deryl Herring, brother Deris Hutcheson, wife Wynona Hutcheson; grandchildren – Kaycie Baker, husband Robert Smith, Kellie Thiele, husband Derek Thiele, Addison Crain, Peter Tilton, Kayla Neumann and great grandchild – Clayton Thiele, who were a source of joy and pride throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Joel Crain, mother Theda Hutcheson, father Chock Hutcheson and nephew Brandon Hutcheson.

Hilda’s passion in life was her husband, Joel and family. RVing was her favorite past time, along with nature, “treasure hunting” with a metal detector, friends and for those that knew her well, playing and irritating her granddaughters, great grandson, nieces and nephews. She loved to bargain shop and ride along with Joel as he took pictures of nature and the world.

Hilda’s legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were touched by her presence. May she rest in eternal peace.
