Heston Ray Skaggs

Heston Ray Skaggs, 25, of Moody, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021 while working in Oklahoma.  A Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Monday, July 12, 2021 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be 10 am, Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with Pat Richardson officiating.  Interment will follow at Moody Cemetery.

Heston was born March 21, 1996, in College Station, Texas to Brad and Robyn Skaggs.  He was a 2014 Moody High School graduate.  He loved to play golf, but most of all, he loved being daddy to Landri.

He started his career as a Lineman at Oncor in Waco and was most recently employed at RES in Oklahoma City. Heston was proud to be a Lineman and loved his job.

He is preceded in death by grandfather, Clayton Lightfoot.  Survivors include parents, Brad and Robyn Skaggs; fiancé Reagan Copeland; daughter, Landri Skaggs; brother, Hunter Skaggs and wife Michenna; sister, Kattie Skaggs; grandparents, Linda Lightfoot, Rick and Linda Dickerson, Glen and Landy Skaggs; uncles, Barry Lightfoot and wife Mary, Bart Lightfoot and wife Dovie, Koby Killion and wife Tracie, B.J. Huston and wife Gloria; aunt, Mandy Quintana; and numerous cousins.

Pallbearers will be, Ross Dennis, Brian Gould, Cody Holt, Hunter Skaggs, Michael Smith, and Tyler Wallace.
