Henry "Pops" Thomas Sr

Henry August Thomas Sr. (Pops) age 76 of Waco, Texas peacefully passed away Thursday May 12, 2011 with his family by his side. Funeral Services will be 10AM Tuesday May 17, 2011 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Monday May 16 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Henry was born January 5, 1935 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Philip and Lena Thomas. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He married Yvonne Theresa Fairleigh in 1960. He retired from the US Postal Service after 30 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Yvonne, sister Mae and a daughter Cheryl.

He is survived by two daughters Mary Dallas and husband Rod and Glenda Troulliet; son Henry A. Thomas Jr. and wife Jackie; son in law Thiet Van Le; a sister Elaine Rayes; seven grandchildren Jennifer and husband Dustin, Rachel, Ricky, Kristine, Rachel, Elizabeth and husband Tim, and Ashley; seven great grandchildren.
