Heath Lee Carrizales

Heath Lee Carrizales, 53, of Waco, Texas passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Born on July 31, 1971, in Shelby, Heath grew up with a love for life, family, and community. He graduated from University High School in the Class of 1989. Heath worked as an HVAC tech before moving to office at Jacobs Cathey Company for which he had worked for ten years.

Heath was passionate about disc golf and was a proud member of the Waco Disc Golf Association and a former PDGA member. His love for the sport was matched only by his appreciation for good music and his dedication to cheering on his favorite teams—the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, and Texas Rangers.

Heath’s kindness and enthusiasm touched the lives of all who knew him. He cherished his family deeply, especially his mother, Mary Ferguson:father Tony Carrizales; his brother and sister-in-law, Micah and Amy Carrizales; and his sister and brother-in-law, Melody and David Pembleton. He was a proud and loving uncle to his nephews Jacob, Caleb, Cooper, and Connor. Above all, Heath held a special bond with his beloved niece, Danielle, who brought him endless joy.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and uncle, whose memories remained close to his heart throughout his life.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Baylor Scott and White Temple ICU for their compassionate care during Heath’s final days.

In honor of Heath’s life, a celebration of his legacy will be held at February 24th from 5-7:00pm
