Hailey was born November 28, 1994 in Dallas, TX to Mark and Connie Cockerham. Hailey was a junior at Lorena High School and was blessed with many wonderful friends. She enjoyed reading and writing and had a strong passion for animals. She wrote and published her first book at the age of 13 and was working on another. For a teenager, Hailey, had a very brave, kind, gentle angelic spirit. She was loving and caring to all she came in contact with. Her dream was to attend St Edwards University in Austin and pursue her passion for writing. Hailey fought a courageous 2 year battle with cancer and during that time she made a big impact on the lives of all she came in contact with. She passed with a peaceful smile on her face knowing she was going to a beautiful place in the loving arms of our Lord and Saviour. In her giving spirt she donated her eyes for research to help others. Hailey is our beautiful angel and we have comfort in knowing she is in Heaven with her Gramps watching over all of us.
She is survivied by her parents, Mark and Connie Cockerham and her brother Zachary. She is also survived by her grandparents Pat Cockerham and Vernon and Margaret Ewing, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by Bill Cockerham(gramps).
