Gloria Stabeno

Gloria Ann Stabeno, 87, of Woodway, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014. Funeral services will be (10 a.m.) Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Woodway First United Methodist Church, 21000 Woodway Drive, with Rev. John A. Dirk officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be (6 - 8 p.m.) at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, 8220 Woodway Drive.

Gloria was born October 9, 1927 to J.O. and Inez Martin. Through her life, she loved to spend time with people, especially her family. Gloria also loved to sew and instructed at Tomorrow's Quilts. She was a master seamstress and the quality of her work reflected her character. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roy Martin; and sister, Lou Gann.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband, Earl Stabeno; son; Rodney and his children; Ryan, Donovan, and Sadie. Daughter, Lisa Tyus and husband, Glynn Tyus and their children; Jana Schaeffer and husband, Chris, Katie Hart and her husbamd Garrett, and multiple great- grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Woodway First United Methodist Church.
