Gloria “Maw Maw” Fuller, 73, of Oglesby, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at her residence with her family at her side. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the Carleen Bright Arboretum, 9001 Bosque Blvd in Woodway.
Maw Maw was born September 10, 1939 in Borger. She attended school in Nederland and graduated from Nederland High School in 1958. After school she worked at St. Mary’s Hospital in Port Arthur, Texas and later she worked as a beautician and cosmetologist in Nederland and Port Neches. Later, she worked in International aviation as a logistical manager in Sabine Pass.
On July 29, 1978 she married H. Vince Fuller where they resided in South East Texas. In 2007, they moved to Oglesby to be near their family. She was an Episcopalian and a member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Waco since moving to the Waco area.
Maw Maw is survived by her husband, Vince of Oglesby; two sons, Larry LeBlanc and wife, Kati of Oglesby; Ray LeBlanc and wife, Diane of Zachary, LA.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Paula Feldman and husband, Adolph, Peggy Bourque and Sarah Tunnel; and two nieces and one nephew.
