Glenn Thrasher, 70, of Waco passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016. Graveside services will be 1 p.m., Monday, May 23, at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Roy Marshall officiating. Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.
Glenn was born to Rufus and Evalena Thrasher July 2, 1945 in Waco. After graduating from high school, Glenn joined the United States Air Force in 1965. After completing his service, Glenn began to work for Western Electric and AT&T. After 40 years he retired from Alcatel Lucent. Glenn enjoyed spending time with family, golfing and fishing. He especially loved to spend time with his grandson, Eli.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and twin sister, Linda Faye Thrasher.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 31 years, Lana Reznicek Thrasher; daughter, Stacie Borsellino and husband, Aaron, of Waco; son, Jason Thrasher of Waco; grandson, Eli Borsellino; sisters, Elizabeth Hague and husband, Keith, of Magnolia, Gloria Turnage of Waco, Lena Shaw and husband, Charles, of Robinson, and Wanda Mason of Ft. Worth; sister-in-law, Elaine Blood and husband, Pat, of Bedford; sister-in-law, Chan Turner and husband, Jerrett, of Tyler; brother-in-law, Tim Reznicek; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank Providence Hospice Place, its staff, nurses, and doctors for their compassionate and exceptional care of Glenn.
