Ginger DelRae Baker, 24, of Waco, went home Friday, June 22, 2012. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 30, at 10:00 a.m., at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Bangs Cemetery, in Bangs, TX. Visitation will be held Friday, June 29, from 6-8 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.
Ginger was born in Brownwood, TX on April 24, 1988 to Danny Ray Baker and Angela Dawn Isom. She graduated from Lorena High School in 2006. On May 29th of that same year, a miracle was brought to the world, her son, Landon Ray Baker. Ginger was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She loved to laugh, dance, sing off key, play pranks on people and just enjoy life. She worked at Cheddars Restaurant for almost two years.
Ginger was preceded in death by her grandparents, Willard and MaryLou Cates; Pepaw Othel Baker; and Uncle Skeet Cates.
She is survived by grandmother Nina Martin, her father, Danny Baker; son Landon Baker; sister Stephanie Cook and husband John; brothers Dustin Baker and Cameron Marsh; her partner Danielle Ramirez; nephew Leo Baker; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
