Gertha Ann (Rasbeary) Sissell

Gertha Ann Sissell, 85, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024. Ann was born July 15, 1938 in Woodlake, Texas to William and Viva Rasbeary. She worked at MHMR for 20 years and retired in 2021. Ann enjoyed gardening, reading, crocheting, and spending time with her great grandchildren.

Ann is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Dean Dawson, of McGregor, Texas, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings, sister and brother-in-law Joyce and Frank Webb of Luling, Texas, sister Carolyn Conley of Nolensville, Tennessee, brother and sister-in-law Ron and Jackie Rasbeary of Teague, Texas, and sister Debra Jo Rasbeary of Palestine, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ann is preceded in death by daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Paul Otter, parents William and Viva Rasbeary, brother Cullen Rasbeary, and sister Donna Northcutt.

A time of visitation with family and friends will be Friday, February 23, 2024 from 10am to noon at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.
