George Bartasek

George Bartasek, 76, of Waco, went to be with his Lord and Savior after battling a yearlong illness. According to George's wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services.

George was born in BayShore, Long Island, NY to Otto Yense and Eleanor (Bohmermann) Bartasek December 22, 1937.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marilyn Christine Bartasek; and cousin, Steven Bartasek.

George is survived by his sister, Carole Bartasek of Lorena; and his faithful canine companion, SugaCookie.

His sister Carole would like to thank the caregivers of Hillcrest Scott & White Hospital, and Providence Hospice staff for all their love and care during his long illness.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, or the charity of your choosing.
