Geneva Land

Geneva "MA" Land went to Jesus on July 5, 2015. A funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 08, 2015 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, followed with a burial at Bethany Cemetery in Eddy, TX. A time for family to receive friends will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 07, 2015 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. A family led celebration of Geneva’s life will be held after the service at Reba’s house, 8234 Franklin Rd Moody .
Geneva was born on August 25, 1922 to James and Della Holder. Geneva married Earnest Joyce Land on September 09, 1944 where they lived in Moody TX. They had 5 beautiful children. Geneva was baptized on July 09, 1967 at the Stockton Chapel Methodist Church and she was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Geneva loved to dance, fish, cook, and make quilt tops. She was a very generous woman. You never left her house hungry.
Geneva is preceded in death by her husband Earnest land, her parents, her daughter Glenda Trull, her grandson ,Allen Trull, and grandson, Kenny Allen, and her 5 sisters and one brother.
Geneva’s life is celebrated by her children Marrion “Bubba” Land, Reba Allen, Sylvia Holder and Mary Wagner. Also she is loved and missed by her 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
