Gary Courtney

Gary Alan Courtney, 64, of Oglesby, Texas, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on October 23, 2021. A visitation will be held 2-4pm, Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Gary was born June 19, 1957 in Waco, Texas to Virginia Pack Courtney and Byron C. Courtney Jr.  Gary married the love of his life, Jean Ann Courtney on March 19, 1993, in Waco Texas.

He loved family, friends, boating, hunting, fishing, family campouts, and most of all his wonderful grandchildren whom he adored.

He is preceded in death by his father, Byron C. Courtney Jr. and mother, Virginia P. Courtney, grandson, Jason Saul Jr. and brother-in-law, Grover Culverhouse.

Gary leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Jean Ann Courtney and his five children:  Cristie (Justino) Robles, Mistie (Santos) Gonzales, Amanda (Robert) Geltemeyer, Daniel Davenport, and Jason Saul.

His siblings: Sandy Culverhouse, Barbara (John) Beard, Ruby (James) Trombley, and BC III "Toey" (Linda) Courtney.

His grandchildren: Zachary Rodarte, Christopher Robles, Abrianna Geltemeyer, Haley Geltemeyer, Jason Saul II., Jaiden Saul, Zariyah Gonzales, Ivy Jean Gonzales, Zaila Gonzales, Elsie Gonzales, Eric Gonzales, Julian Gonzales, Elijah Gonzales, Trinity Davenport, Sky Davenport, and  Joseph Chesney .

Many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
