Garry Wayne Cook

Garry Wayne Cook, 66, passed away from this earthly world on April 6, 2023 in Dallas, Texas after a serious illness.  A Graveside Service will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Waco Memorial Park.

Garry was born June 8, 1956 in Waco to parents Pat and Willis Cook. He was one of seven children. He went to Waco schools and graduated from Richfield High School in 1974.  Garry worked most recently for Vision Mac Transport as a transport driver.

Garry married Vanita Simpson Cook on April 3, 1993 and they have two sons, Austin and wife Brooke and Dakota and wife Chrisanne.  He is also survived by wonderful grandsons, Hadley and Beau.

Garry loved his family, cars, animals and pets, Diva, Bella and Ruger, and the outdoors.  His fond memories were of his 1968 Dodge Charger and cruzing Valley Mills Drive and racing that car when he was a teenager.  Garry was a good, hard working man who worked hard all his life. He leaves behind many memories that will be remembered by his family and friends.
