Gabriel Moran

Gabriel Moran of McGregor passed away Saturday afternoon, May 13, 2023, at the age of 37.  Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, May 22, 2023, in the Chapel of Grace Gardens Funera Home, 8220 Woodway Dr., Waco.  The funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in the Chapel of Grace Gardens Funeral Home. with Rev. Lloyd Zeigher officiating.

Gabriel was born November 9, 1985, in Waco, Texas, the son of Larry and Mary (Trevino) Moran.   He graduated from McGregor High School
in 2004. In 2015 he attended Le Cordon Bleu culinary school. Gabriel worked at Memorial Dining Hall on Baylor campus as a Chef. Gabriel enjoyed traveling, cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He was a devoted son, brother and uncle. He was a collector of Louis Vuitton and all of the finer things in life. He had an eye for fashion, art and loved decorating. One of is favorite places to shop was Magnolia. Gabriel was a great loyal friend. He was compassionate and humble. To know him was to love him. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Eva and Thomas Moran.
He is survived by his parents Mary and Larry Moran, his brothers Larry and Michael and Leydi Cedillo, grandparents Juan and Mary Trevino, niece Rylee Jo and Jaxson Moran, aunts and uncles , Juan and Evie Trevino, Silvia and Preston Porter, Isabel and Victor Licea, Gloria and Chuck Simmons, Veronica Trevino and Shoan Mohamed, cousins Christopher, Ashley, Jerome, John David, Tyler, Hannah, Melody, Ariel, Victor, Nicholas, Hannah, Jay, Thalia and Sofia and
many more aunts, uncles, cousins and his pet Louey.
The family would like to thank his Baylor dining hall family for their love and support during this time. A special thanks to all who have sent messages, called, and visited during this difficult time. We would also like to thank Pastor Zeigher and Victorious Life Church and the congregation for their love and support for our family. A reception will be held thereafter at the Victorious Life Church.
