Biography

Fred E. Storm Jr., 53, of Waco, passed away at home Saturday October 16, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be best remembered for his sense of humor, quick wit, and being a hard worker at everything he did. Fred enjoyed spending time on the computer and playing with all of his technical gadgets. The family will receive friends and family from 6 to 8PM Tuesday October 19, 2010 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home in Woodway. Funeral services will be held at 10AM on Wednesday October 20, 2010 at First Baptist Woodway with Brother Pat Cummings officiating. Burial will follow at White Rock Cemetery in Ross.

The Storm family is most grateful for the loving support offered by family, friends, and physicians during Fred’s battle with cancer.

Fred was born on April 18, 1957 in Waco. He was the third of four children born to Fred, Sr. and Peggy Storm. Fred married Diane Wilson on June 18, 1977. Together they raised three children: Laurie, Brandon, and Jenny.

Fred was employed by McCormick & Company, Inc. for almost 27 years, where he served for the last eight years as one of the Vice Presidents. He received multiple prestigious awards and was recognized for his hard work and devotion to the company.

Fred was preceded in death by his mother.

Fred is survived by his wife, Diane Storm; children, Laurie Taylor, Brandon Storm and wife Stephanie, and Jenny Feghali and husband George; grandchildren, Kylie and Natalyn Feghali; father, Fred Storm, Sr. and wife Patti; siblings, Carol Welstead and husband Mark, Shirley Westerfield and husband Mike, Tim Storm and wife Linda, and step-sisters Steffani and Tiffani Ellis; mother in law Jessie Wilson; father in law Ed Wilson; brother in law’s Ricky Wilson and Ed, Jr. (Chuck) Wilson and wife Sheryl; sister in law’s Patty Bivins and husband Nelson, and Linda Watkins and husband Jeff; and a myriad of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.

In lieu of floral arrangements, memorials may be made to Patton Baptist Church or a charity of one’s choice.
