Frankie Doskocil age 59, of Eddy, Texas passed away Friday April 27, 2012 at his home with his family and friends by his side. A private family service will be held at a later date.
Frankie was born September 8, 1952 in Rosebud, Texas to Frank and Viola Doskocil. He was a police officer for 34 years, for the City of Temple, the Veterans Administration and he was a Sargeant at the Bell County Sheriffs Office. Due to medical issues he retired in 2001 and he spent his last years raising cattle and enjoying the country side.
He was preceded in death by his father Frank.
Frankie is survived by his wife Donna; two sons Ryan Doskocil and his wife Kristy and Gary Bremer; a daughter Karen Herzog and her husband Lloyd; his mother Viola Doskocil; a sister Barbara Rubino and her husband Allan; a sister in law Dianne Woods and husband Roland; eight grandchildren, Cory Rodak, Whitney Bremer, Brooke Harrell, Abigail Doskocil, Garrett Bremer, Zachary Scaffidi, Xavier Doskocil and Chloe Doskocil; one nephew Phillip Rubino and a circle of amazing and loving friends.
Frankie bravely fought a short term illness. His family and friends stood by his side until the Lord took him home. Special thanks are also given to the amazing Hospice nurses and certified nurse’s assistant for their heartfelt help and devotion.
