Frank Carl Evins, Jr.

On Sunday, May 2, 2021, Frank Evins passed away at the age of 43. There will be a celebration of life on May 22 at 2:00 at the Matthews Civic Center in Atkins, Arkansas.

Frank was born May 21, 1977 in Houston, Texas to Frank Evins, Sr. and Renee Evins. In 1979 the family moved to Arkansas where Frank attended Atkins ISD from first grade until he graduated in 1996.  During his time there, he was active in the 4-H where he showed both hogs and goats, receiving many awards.  He was also a proud member of the Atkins Red Devil football team.  Frank loved telling stories from his football days in high school.

On June 20, 2002 his greatest accomplishment and his pride and joy was born, Zachary Sebastian.  He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with Zach whether it was watching Zach play baseball or football or them going to the dirt track races.  You didn’t have to spend much time with Frank to realize how proud he was of Zach.  Frank loved showing off Zach with pictures and stories especially during Zach’s junior and senior years of football.

On August 1, 2018, Frank married whom he considered to be the love of his life, Staci.  He moved back to Texas to be with her and found the job he always wanted at McLennan County Road and Bridge as Equipment Operator.

Frank was preceded in death by his father Frank Evins, Sr.  Survivors include his son Zachary Evins of Russellville, AR; mother Renee Evins of Atkins, AR; wife Staci and step-children, Cody and Karli Stone of Moody, TX and his best friend Beth Glenn of Atkins, AR.

He will be greatly missed by his family, many friends and all of those whose lives he touched.
