Evelyn (Lloyd) Campbell

Evelyn Lloyd Campbell passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, at the age of 82.  Graveside services and interment will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Waco Memorial Park with Roy Marshall officiating.

Born August 5, 1938 in Abilene, Texas, the daughter of W.D. Lloyd and Dorathy (DuBose) Lloyd.  She grew up in Waco, Texas graduating from University High School in 1956 and Four C Business College.  She spent may years working as secretary for the Waco Boys Club and volunteered with any and all activities that her children were involved in.  She spent her later years working in the insurance industry and then retiring from the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau to enjoy her retirement in Commerce, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother Marie Hester Lloyd, son Terry Campbell, grandson Brandon Ratliff, granddaughter Amanda Wade, and father of her children Gordon R Campbell, Jr.

She is survived by her partner of 20+ years Lloyd Coker, Commerce, Texas, son and daughter in law, Jon and Mischa Campbell of Waco, Texas; daughters Dina Wade of Crestview, Florida and Kris Ferguson of Leesville, Louisiana; sister-in-law Carol Lowe of Waco, Texas.  She is also survived by 5 grandsons, Bryce Campbell, Colin Campbell, Michael Wade Jr., Curtis Wade and Braeden Ferguson, as well as 7 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
