Evelyn Rose Marie Ash

Evelyn Rose Marie Ash passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her mother, grandma, and around her loving family on the evening of February 7, 2022 at Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Hospital in Temple, Texas. A visitation will be held at Grace Gardens Funeral Home in Waco, TX on Sunday February 13th from 6pm - 8pm. A graveside service will be held the following day Monday February 14th at Moody Cemetery in Moody, Texas at 2pm.

She was born on December 11, 2021, at Ascension Providence in Waco, Texas. She was born with a full head of beautiful hair and wide inquisitive eyes. She announced her arrival in this world with a loud cry.  A beautiful baby. She was born glowing with life. Although her life with her family was cut short, she loved everyone who she met and loved her by her tenacity, courage, and her spirit.  She was transported to Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Hospital in Temple where her mother and grandparents fought to get her the best care they could access.

In those short days she shined so brightly that we knew she was watching over her family. She is survived by her loving mother, Hayley Ash (who resides in Moody Tx.) her Grandparents, Michael & Charlotte Ash, Her Aunt Shianne Vandiver, Uncle MJ Ash, Great Grandparents Vicki Ash, Kenneth & Dolores Rochell, Great Uncles/Aunts Timothy & Missy Rochell, Bubba & Joy Ash, James & Anastasia Rochell, and longtime friend London Mooring and so many more family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents/ Great Grandparents Merle Ash, JD & Rose Cloer, Glinda Rochell, and James & Velma Thacker, and Uncle Matthew Ash.

Her family and friends mourn her departure and are full of deep gratitude for the time she spent with us. When we make our way to meet her in another home, she has already made it clear she will be there to welcome us.
