Esther King

Esther Lucille King, age 64 of Hewitt passed away Monday April 24, 2017 at Hospice Place. Esther was born July 29, 1952 in Springfield, Ill. Memorial Services will be held Saturday April 29, 2017 at 3:00p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with visitation to follow.

Esther was retired after 27 years service from the State of Texas in Human Services. On Jan. 3, 1981 she married Terrill King in Greenview, Ill. She was a avid shopper, loved George Strait, the Chicago Cubs, and also was a collector of Arts and Crafts especially Rabbits..

Esther is survived by her husband, Terrill of Hewitt, three sisters: Clara Walker of Havana, Ill , Jane Deford of Canton, Ill. And Celia Kissick of Petersburg, Ill. and her brother, Richard Cummings of Greenview, Ill.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Meals on Wheels, The Salvation Army or Breast Cancer Research.
