Emma Keyson

Emma Lee 'Em' Keyson went to heaven March 29, 2014. She
lived an amazingly full 91 years. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with her family will be 10 a.m. Friday, one hour prior to the service.

Born into a farming family in Temple the 4th of September 1922, she
was the youngest and last surviving member of seven siblings.

After graduating from Waco High she met and fell in love with a young
soldier leaving for military service during WWII. They married in 1944 beginning a life and family all while sharing nearly sixty years
together.

Em was the epitome of the word homemaker, an artist in the kitchen
with her tasty recipes, always a perfect host for entertaining family
and friends. Her life was filled with activities be it volunteering at
First Baptist Woodway or local organizations in the community. She was
a woman of deep faith and in her later years was anxious to reunite
with her hubby.

She will be missed yet always in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Em is survived by her children, Dianne of Tijeras, NM, Rick and Cathy of
Frisco, Texas and Ron and Jerri of Arlington, Texas; grandchildren, Chris and wife, Sarah of Murrieta CA, Jeff of Dallas, Sean and Ian of Arlington, Texas;
numerous nephews and nieces; and many dear friends cherished by her
throughout her life.

The family sincerely wishes to thank the entire staff of Regent Care
of Woodway and Providence Healthcare for their professional care and
personal kindness.
