Elizabeth Leigh Erlanson Wooderson, 65, of Peoria, entered into her heavenly reward after a long and valiant battle with cancer on April 18, 2021. A Celebration of her life will be 11am, Saturday, April 24th at Peoria Baptist Church. Service will be livestreamed on Eddie Booth's FaceBook page.
Beth, who later became Liz professionally, was born in Waco on February 1, 1956 to Dazery Joy and John Floy Erlanson. She was a graduate from McGregor High School, where she made life long friends, whom she still took trips with annually. She received her Bachelors degree from the University of North Texas in addiction studies. She received her Masters degree from Texas Woman’s University in Family Studies. Combined, these degrees allowed her to minister to those in the MHMR program that needed help with addictions.
Most important to Liz were her connections with family and friends. She enjoyed traveling and spoiling her grandchildren. She was often found at Haleigh’s softball tournaments, easily the proudest fan.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Randell; son, James Aaron Byrd and wife Amanda; granddaughters, Haleigh, Brooke; step-daughter, Allisyn Wooderson; siblings, Mike Erlanson and wife Linda; Kenneth Erlanson and wife Lana; Robert Erlanson and wife Betty; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
