Elaine Hering White

Elaine Hering White, 75, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024. Elaine was born March 2, 1949 in Waco, Texas, to Bob and Jeannine Hering. She grew up and attended school in McGregor and graduated from McGregor High School in 1967. Elaine went on to pursue a 40-year career in
insurance information technology in Austin, Texas. After retiring, Elaine and her husband, Joe, moved to McGregor to be close to family.

Elaine had many interests. She was an avid reader, loved cooking with her daughter, and enjoyed traveling to car shows all over the country with Joe. Her love of decorating and Christmas came together every year to the delight of anyone that came to visit.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Jeannine Hering. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Joe White; her daughter Angela Wilson; her brother Boyd Hering and wife Debbie; nephew Zeb Hering and wife Jenny, Kinleigh and Zeke Hering.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Providence Hospice.
