Edward Ray Gaskin
October 30, 1941 - January 11, 2014

Edward Gaskin, 72, of Bellmead, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Senior Care of Hewitt. A private family graveside will be held Tuesday in Marquez.

Edward was born October 30, 1941 in Marquez to William Dempsey Gaskin and Emmer Boyd Gaskin. He attended Franklin public schools and worked as a Millwright during his working career.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, William Dempsey Gaskin, Jr.; and one sister, Sarah Miles.

Edward is survived by his sister, LaNelle Merryman and husband, David of Hewitt; brothers, Jim Gaskin, Sr. of Hewitt and Bobby Gaskin and wife, Rayelene of Eddy; sister in law, Pauline Gaskin of Elm Mott; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Senior Care of Hewitt and the staff of Providence Hospice for their excellent care of Edward.
